Today we got up early to visit Niagara Falls. It was pretty sweet. We walked up along the river, before hopping onto the Hornblower ( the Canadians version on the Maid in the Mist). It was wet. I felt they should have warned us… I mean I know it’s a very large waterfall and so there’s likely to be a little spray, but it was almost torrential! We got off partially drenched and yet fulfilled, then deciding to head into town. It was a strange, strange place. Everything looked like it had been built in the 60’s and had remained untouched since. We had our first Wendy’s – terrible experience, don’t ever go there. We decided that little time was needed in the town of Niagara, so we went back to the bus terminal to get an earlier bus home.
For our last night in Toronto, we decided to try the area around Bathurst for some food. We settled for gyozas and bibimbap at a Korean restaurant, it was wonderful. We leave for Cuba tomorrow. Toronto I will miss you.
