Toronto Day 2

by kangarooseamstress

We had an action-packed schedule for the day. Starting off just west of Spadina, I bought a bag at a flea market and then a milkshake post brunch. The west side of Toronto is super cool. We then went up the famous CN Tower which made my whole body feel slightly nauseous. The glass floor was slightly too much,Tiernan however, braved it amongst some rather crazy and jumpy Asian people. We then headed to a well renowned Mexican restaurant ( in the west….obviously) where we had some tasty tacos. Our day was rounded off by another sporting first for us Brits. We attended the pre-season match between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Buffalo Sabres. Hockey is fast, skilful and vicious. Something that put me off it slightly, was the loud music played almost constantly, but also the stop-start nature of the game. It went to a shoot-out and eventually the Leafs won in sudden death. Sport has been kind to us in Toronto.
