Today in Toronto
Today was a long and rewarding day in Canada. We woke up early due to jet lag and so watched the Mersyside on TV. We left the house and travelled to western downtown, specifically Kensington market. The rest of the day was devoted to sport for the most part. We watched the North London derby, which was disappointing, and then on a spur of a moment (which is a phrase that characterises most of our actions these days) we bought tickets off a tout for a Toronto Blue Jays game. It’s the end of the season, so the game didn’t mean a whole lot, but nonetheless, it was great fun. We grabbed some food and walked all the way home. Canadians are very friendly, we spoke to lots of people today.
