Day 3: 13 hours of Train
We didn’t sleep last night, instead saving money by getting the first train to Brussels at 4:50 am. We spent the night in multiple bars, watching the football and meeting people. Of these, we met three of the Bruges youth who spent the early hours with us drinking the cheapest beer available called CaraPils.
We took the train and met two Americans who were seasoned rail travellers and helped us out with getting our heads round the trains. 13 hours later and 5 trains later we arrived in Locarno. Rather frustratingly we found that our campsite was a way out of Locarno. We’re set up now. The scenery is beautiful.
